The engineer is expected to work as part of a team or individuality assuming duties that include but not limited to
Provide technical support and advice for operations
Facilitate equipment strategies development sessions
Facilitate equipment strategies development sessions
Facilitate equipment criticality sessions
Facilitate Root cause failure analysis (RCFA) sessions
Performs statistical analysis to identify bad actors to improve the reliability, availability and maintainability of plant equipment.
Presentations to Rasgas management and peers
Keeps up-to-date with new reliability techniques methodologies work practices, engineering standards and industry codes
Knowledge and Skills
BSC in a relevant engineering discipline, or recognized equivalent
Good written and oral communication skills in English
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member
Must be highly computer literate and have exposure to large scale databases with the ability to write simple SQL queries
Adaptable to a multinational environment with a wide exposure to various cultures and customs
Must have knowledge of CMMS (SAP preferable) planned maintenance (PM) module
Preferable training and experience of Meridium Asset Performance
Management (APM) software solutions
Preferable Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) Certified by SMRP
Experience
Must have eight (8) years Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience
Must have four (4) years Reliability Engineering experience
Must have experience with the following techniques and methodologies Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) Reliance Availability Maintainability (RAM) Modeling statistical analysis techniques, bad actors elimination predictive maintenance techniques and criticality analysis
