About Your Job:
You will be accountable to provide leadership and direction on all operational standards SOPs development, creation, preparation and support and management essential for airport services.
The position holder has accountability to Plan, develop and implement improvement solutions which help the business to excel. The scope includes but is not limited to the following:
* Create and develop new and update existing Standard Operating Procedure, both hard-copy and on-line for airport internal use on behalf of the Operations Department.
* Accountable for management reports on standards, development and updating in order to continually provide safe, clear and effective operational service standards and procedures documentation and project progress.
* Review, Update and Edit SOPs for structural consistency, technical accuracy, clarity, readability such that the SOP meets DIA standards & QCAA regulatory requirements.
* Gather procedural information, structure and write concise high quality SOPs that are compliant with ICAO Annex 14, QCAR-ADR and the DIA Aerodrome & Safety Manuals etc.
* Provide continuous oversight of QCAR-ADR & Annex 14 with a view to ensuring ‘Continuing Compliance' of approved airport documentation.
* Lead towards the delivery of future in terms of on-line single source document management applications involving approved airport documentation across the entire operational spectrum.
* Tactical planning & analyzes business practices and market conditions to evaluate responsiveness, responsibility and performance.
* Establish methodology and protocols for continuous operational improvements
* Contribute and implement Standards & Service Development contracts, policies, systems, processes, procedures and standards covering all relevant business operational functions so that all operational requirements are optimally
About You:
The successful candidate will:-
* Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Air Transport Management or similar
* Minimum 7 years of work experience at Senior Management level either working for the airport or airline.
* Knowledge and experience of structuring, writing, peer editing and proof-reading skills for air transport applications.
* Must have a high degree of self-motivation and be able develop new concepts quickly.
