Specialist - Business Development & Strategic Planning (Residential) - Amlak

Role
Conducts detailed market and financial analysis for AMLAK’s business development activities (Residential) in terms of new investments.

Task/Responsibilities
- Input to holding-wide strategy setting process and investment process, including procedures specific to AMLAK's business model including stage gates, financial decision rights, investment hurdles, assumptions, etc.
- Support subsidiaries, with supervision of the Business Development & Strategic Planning manager, with strategic planning and strategy alignment with AMLAK’s overall strategy.
- Perform strategic and operational analysis of AMLAK subsidiary strategies and operations highlighting gaps and areas of concern.
- Assess new initiatives, plans and programs in line with AMLAK’s strategy.
- Support asset on take process with due diligence input, including financial and operational assumptions.
- Analyze third-party feasibility studies for new projects, and for the development of new assets.
- Assess new business relationships and development opportunities, including M&A opportunities, that are in line with Holding strategy and perform feasibility studies to determine size of opportunity.
- Review feasibility studies prepared and recommend needed modifications.
- Maintain a database of investment opportunities along with their related investment and market data.
- Coordinate with research and investment organizations to obtain up to date investment data and provide AMLAK’s functions with needed data.
- Establish a filing system for strategy related and business development documents and constantly update it.
- Practice duties and roles in line with the authorities as illustrated in the Delegation of Authority Manual, and perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Business Development and Strategic Planning Manager.
