I am currently recruiting a HR Director for our client. Being one of the leading contractors inQatar, they provide world-class construction management services to a broad range of clients acrossQatarand the GCC. They specialise in billion-riyal programs in a variety of sectors, including Palaces, High-End Residential, Sports Stadiums, Commercial/Corporate office, Government, Retail and more.
Due to continuous expansion, driven by a global vision, they are currently hiring a HR Director. The HR Director would be responsible for 4 key areas: Functional; Customer (internal); Financial; & People. Activities would include: Implementing, leading and managing HR Practices and objectives that would provide an employee oriented, high performance culture. You would be responsible for the orientation of expatriate staff & labour, overseeing the administration requirements, direct a process of organisational planning. You would also develop and implement compensation strategies and structures, developing and managing departmental budgets. Development and implementation of training and development initiatives is an important part of the role. You would also be responsible for contributing towards policies and procedures.
A University Qualification in HRM and a certificate/diploma in Business Administration are required.
To summarise what is required:
25+ years post-graduate experience;
Specific experience in HR Management, and Training & Development;
15+ years at EXCO level;
Western Educated;
Experience working within the construction industry;
GCC experience;
