MANAGER SECURITY AND RISK MANAGEMENT - International Center for Sports Security

Job Purpose

To lead, develop and deliver quality sporting event security and safety risk solutions for ICSS clients, inclusive of governments, major sporting event organising committees, sport bodies and sport venue owners.

Responsibilities

 Manage the risk aspects of sporting event security and safety projects in accordance with the ICSS Process for Security and Risk Advisory.
 Manage the risk aspects of sporting event security and safety projects successfully within time, cost and quality.
 Manage multiple and diverse stakeholders effectively
 Maintain sound relationships with clients, partners, service providers and ICSS personnel.
 Define, develop, deliver, test and implement quality sporting event security and safety risk solutions inclusive of strategies, policies, procedures, methodologies, supporting forms, plans, manuals, terms of reference, specifications, tenders, contracts, assessments and budgets.
 Provide specialist security and safety risk knowledge of major sporting event and sport venue management,inclusive of the various components, requirements and phases of event / venue security management, during the identification, analysis, mitigation planning, integration with relevant projects, alignment to regulatory requirements, monitoring, management and reporting of risks to ensure the minimum risk exposure of the project and client.
 Provide quality reports punctually as and when required.
 Manage, motivate and develop all allocated personnel, including Subject Matter Experts.
 Manage all risk components of project budgets effectively.
 Coordinate all training related aspects with the Training Directorate
 Comply with all ICSS policies and procedures.
 Comply with the ICSS Quality Management System requirements.
 Continuously make valuable contributions towards the Intellectual Property of the ICSS.
 Represent the ICSS and promote its interests at public fora.
 Remain up to date with current best practices and relevant regulatory aspects.
 Constantly seek and report business opportunities to the Director: Security and Risk Advisory.
 Maintain confidentiality of all relevant ICSS and client information.
