Job Purpose
To lead, develop and deliver quality sport event security and safety solutions for ICSS clients, inclusive of governments, major sport event organising committees, sport bodies and sport venue owners.
Responsibilities
Manage sport event security and safety projects in accordance with the ICSS Process for Security and Risk Advisory.
Manage sport event security and safety projects successfully within time, cost and quality.
Manage multiple and diverse stakeholders effectively
Maintain sound relationships with clients, partners, service providers and ICSS personnel.
Define, develop, deliver, test and implement quality sporting event security and safety solutions inclusive of strategies, policies, procedures, methodologies, supporting forms, plans, manuals, terms of reference, specifications, tenders, contracts, assessments and budgets.
Provide specialist security and safety knowledge of major sporting event and sport venue management inclusive of the various components, requirements and phases of event / venue security management, perimeter security, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design, Secure by Design, crisis management, transport security, logistics security, asset protection, VIP close protection, Security Command Centres / Venue Operations Centres, Venue Master Planning, private security operations, governmental law enforcement operations, intelligence and military operations, information security, cyber security, technical security and physical security
Provide quality reports punctually as and when required.
Manage, motivate and develop all allocated personnel, including Subject Matter Experts.
Manage all project budgets effectively.
Coordinate all risk related aspects with the Manager: Security Risk Management
Coordinate all training related aspects with the Training Directorate
Comply with all ICSS policies and procedures.
Comply with the ICSS Quality Management System requirements.
Continuously make valuable contributions towards the Intellectual Property of the ICSS.
Represent the ICSS and promote its interests at public fora.
Remain up to date with current best practices and relevant regulatory aspects.
Constantly seek and report business opportunities to the Director: Security and Risk Advisory.
Maintain confidentiality of all relevant ICSS and client information.
