About Your Job:
You will supervise and control flight handling such as Flight editing, check-in, Transfers and Boarding in accordance to the Company Philosophy - "Taking you more personally" and achieve optimum customer satisfaction and on-time departure of flights.
You will control and discipline the conduct of front-line staff, in order to ensure that the right image of the organization is projected to internal and external customers. Perform regular briefing / coaching sessions to ascertain that each staff member is updated on the application standard and procedures. Should have the ability to comprehensively plan and organize handling of critical flights and effectively deal with demanding situations.
You will be expected to liaise between airline representatives and other departments within the organizations for handling exceptional situations (Flight Disruption & Miss-Connections) and take prompt decision with regards to re-routing of passengers, provision of accommodation and facilities, minimize loss and concurrently ensure that customers trust is retained. .
About You:
The scope of the role includes oversee daily operations involving 150 QR flights with over 15,000 passengers. As a Supervisor you will have direct impact on Qatar Aviation Services operations effectiveness and efficiency as well as reputation.
To be eligible for this position you must be minimum High School graduate with at least 4 years of work experience, out of which 2 years being spent in a supervisory position with an overall knowledge of airport functions in terms of passenger and baggage handling, weight and balance and D.G.R. Excellent personnel development skills including team building, hands on approach to the daily operation, and excellent communication skills in spoken/written English, with proficiency on advanced computer applications are essential requirements of the job.
